Public records show that Mendez grew up in the foster care system after the death of his mother, Cassandra Mendez—a former patient of the Pandora Institute.
Furthermore, sources have uncovered that he himself was institutionalized once as a teenager, though official documents remain sealed.
What is known, however, is that Mendez has reportedly faced significant mental health struggles throughout his life.
